Parking, Lights, and Lockers
Jul. 1st, 2009 07:34 amI am going to try to blog a little more while Ben is out of the country. I usually have half an hour or so that I play on the computer before my class anyway so I guess it makes sense to actually do something productive with it.
Yesterday was not a horrible day but not a great day either. school started at the normal early time and I had a test that I think I may have actually done rather well on. (That is a bad sign, any time I think I do well on a test I score poorly.) That was test number four of six so we should be wrapping things up quite soon. I can't say that I mind too much as I feel I have learned quite a bit in the class but the end of semester inattention/feeling of oh god is it done yet is starting to creep in.
Work was work. I think we were down two people on a Tuesday evening with a big kids program. I actually have been working the Tuesday evenings as a temp for the last five months for someone else who is on leave of absence. It is supposed to end in august and I will miss the extra money, but it will be great to have one evening of the week back.
Coming back from work I went to hang the permits for July in the cars and found two parking violations on Ben's car. I am going to appeal the tickets as the permit is good until 6/30 so I should not be getting tickets on 6/29 and 6/30 for an expired permit. Ooops, forgot to mention that I accidentally ran a very red light in the morning too. I don't THINK it was at one of the intersections with the cameras but I guess I will find out.
I also exercised twice yesterday while reading for school and am pretty far into High Fidelity. I need to go shopping really badly as I am almost all out of food. Last night for dinner I had a baked sweet potato with fake butter and cinnamon.
Class is starting soon so I should be off. (And I got my test back 33/36 grrrr)
