Well I suppose it is a good thing that I noticed my shirt was on inside out BEFORE I go to the classroom. I popped into the bathroom really quickly so that I could change it.

Dani has a new apartment so I went there yesterday and we got pizza. I ordered white pizza but there were actual garlic chunks on the pizza and I don't like chunks on my pizza. :( Then I rushed home so I could catch dessert (fruit and yogurt) with Ashley W. The rest of the evening was dedicated to exercise and homework. I went to bed rather late too.

And a guy that looks EXACTLY like the guy playing fairies deck friday just walked into my room.

Yesterday was pretty normal and nothing of much interest happened. I have been taking my vitamins again and I feel like my nails are breaking a little less now. Oh and I spent a bit of time catching up on Bakuman and one chapter of Nana.

I am mostly excited though about my 500 mile biking goal. I use zelky (though it is slow I have not seen better for free) to keep track of my workouts. Well one thing I really like is it highlights the days you enter a workout so if I see a lot of blue squares I know I am doing good. Often there are gaps of 10+ days in there with no workouts, so I have decided to change that this month. For July I will bike every day, even if it is only for 5 minutes (Considering I have been doing two 20 minute sessions per day lately I think it'll be ok.)so that I do not break my habit of working out.

My other goal was once I broke 150 pounds (as in the minute I get 149.9) I am allowed to purchase my passport and not a moment before then. I have been hovering between 160-163 the last month or two so I am using the time Ben is gone to step up the exercise. since he is not here to contribute to groceries I am also trying to eat as cheaply as possible (but still healthily) so very little going out or buying desserts for me. Or this could just be because I am lazy and don't want to go to the store so I will survive on pasta and peas as long as possible. I just wish the giant Eagle by my work had better produce. The apples I got from there were brown and gross inside after a day or two. I am thinking of hitting the store when I go to Lorain tomorrow as there might be sales on holiday stuff (corn, watermelon, etc. I bought dried kidney beans at the store b/c it is supposedly much cheaper than canned. Trying to use the rice cooker to cook them a little faster than soaking overnight + 1-2 hours.

I just finished reading High Fidelity for school (yuck) and I will watch the movie probably later today. Oh my, I just realized I haven't updated my reading list in forever! Granted there is little non-school reading on it because I don't have much time, but still!

I am going to try to blog a little more while Ben is out of the country. I usually have half an hour or so that I play on the computer before my class anyway so I guess it makes sense to actually do something productive with it.

Yesterday was not a horrible day but not a great day either. school started at the normal early time and I had a test that I think I may have actually done rather well on. (That is a bad sign, any time I think I do well on a test I score poorly.) That was test number four of six so we should be wrapping things up quite soon. I can't say that I mind too much as I feel I have learned quite a bit in the class but the end of semester inattention/feeling of oh god is it done yet is starting to creep in.

Work was work. I think we were down two people on a Tuesday evening with a big kids program. I actually have been working the Tuesday evenings as a temp for the last five months for someone else who is on leave of absence. It is supposed to end in august and I will miss the extra money, but it will be great to have one evening of the week back.

Coming back from work I went to hang the permits for July in the cars and found two parking violations on Ben's car. I am going to appeal the tickets as the permit is good until 6/30 so I should not be getting tickets on 6/29 and 6/30 for an expired permit. Ooops, forgot to mention that I accidentally ran a very red light in the morning too. I don't THINK it was at one of the intersections with the cameras but I guess I will find out.

I also exercised twice yesterday while reading for school and am pretty far into High Fidelity. I need to go shopping really badly as I am almost all out of food. Last night for dinner I had a baked sweet potato with fake butter and cinnamon.

Class is starting soon so I should be off. (And I got my test back 33/36 grrrr)

I have two papers to edit tonight and turn in tomorrow. One needs to be edited and the other should. My calendar says the Sign language class final test is tomorrow but I swear the teacher said in class that we would be doing a review Monday. Finals are fast approaching but at least it means I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

As far as financial aid goes I got my award letter and it looks like I qualified for Pell Grant! Now if I can just make it to the fall semester...

Also looking through the 4000 magic cards I bought on ebay for cheap is pretty much my only motivation for school work right now. I am very much hoping to be done by 10.

Aurgh school makes me want to pull out my hair sometimes. So summer classes have to have a specified number of students or the class gets pulled. I probably should have considered this while doing my schedule but it is crazy enough as it is trying to fit in the last few classes I need. I look to be okay with the exception of my English canonicity class. We only have 13 of the 17 required students. Now it looks like I can pull out of that and try for ASL II this summer, but I will have a different teacher. On the other hand I probably already own the book. If I switch to ASL II I can then take the English class in place of the sign language class in the fall. This is a headache, but at least it looks like there is something I can do to make things work.
